About

FORMKREIS is a German DJ & producer whose sound has always lived around techno, tech, deep and minimal.

DJing started in 1997 and grew through years of clubs, parties and festivals across Germany, the UK, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, India, Malaysia, the UAE and beyond. Different rooms, crowds and scenes shaped the way he plays, but the thread running through it has stayed consistent: dark energy, groove and music that works physically on a dancefloor.

A FORMKREIS set is built live rather than simply played through. Tracks are mixed, reworked and layered in real time, with elements pulled apart and combined to create new transitions, tension and movement. That freedom to remix on the fly is a major part of how he approaches DJing.

Now based in Dubai, FORMKREIS brings that experience into DJ sets, recorded mixes and original production, with the same emphasis on energy, groove and a sound that belongs in a dark room on a proper system.
